Group Classes
Group classes are great for working with your dog around other dogs and other distractions -- particularly with helping them to learn to focus on you even when faced with distractions. It can help greatly with socialization and for "proofing" behaviors.

I teach Basic and Better Manners at
Ahimsa Dog Training in Ballard. Check their schedule for upcoming classes.

I also recommend all their other group classes including:
- Puppy training program for manners and puppy socialization
- Wallfower classes for shy/fearful dogs
- Growly dog classes
- Fluency field trips
- Terrier group classes
- Agility, and Rally O

We both got a lot out of the sessions, and you are a terrific teacher. - C. McFarland & Sierra

Basic Manners
We work on attention, jumping (really, not jumping), greetings, recall, sit, down, stay and leave it. This is for dogs 5 months or older.

Better Manners
We build on the foundations learned in Basic Manners and work with more distractions and distance as well as adding duration to the behaviors such as stay.

This class is a great prep for the
Canine Good Citizen test .
